If more than one bike is part of the plan, this axle mount plate makes it simple. It lets you connect your compatible trailer to a second bike, so switching riders does not mean uninstalling and reinstalling every time.
Sharing one trailer between multiple bikes works well until the axle mount plate has to move every time riders switch. Install this additional ezHitch plate on another compatible bike, and each bike stays prepared for your Thule Chariot Cross 2, Thule Chariot Sport 2, or Thule Bexey trailer. Instead of removing and reinstalling hardware before every ride, you'll simply connect the trailer to the bike that's already equipped and head out. It's a simple way to make shared ownership feel easier when different riders, schedules, or outings call for a different bike.

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our Thule axle mount ezHitch plate. So folks, this axle mount plate allows your compatible child carrier to connect to a second bike, and it also makes switching the trailer between bikes quick and straightforward. So it's designed by Thule to work with the Thule Chariot Cross two and the Thule Chariot Sport two child bike transfers. And basically what you're gonna do, this is gonna be an extra safety feature. You'll run it around the frame of the bike and then obviously the frame of the bike would be here, so it's actually gonna catch on to something.
And then God forbid you had an accidental disconnect or something, this would still be wrapped around the bike frame and allow you to safely then still be able to stop and the child wouldn't be back here unhooked on the road by themselves or something of that nature. So it really is a nice little safety feature. Again, compatible with the Thule Chariot Cross two and Thule Chariot Sport, two child bike carriers. This is the Thule axle mount ezHitch plate.
