Ever had to step out in the rain just to adjust your air bags? This quick mount wireless kit adds an onboard compressor and remote controller so you can level your load without leaving the cab. No tools, no hassle, no wet boots.
If you're still hopping out of the cab to manually adjust your air bags, this kit changes everything. It includes an onboard compressor and gives you full wireless control right from your phone or the included handheld remote. Whether you're hauling gear or leveling out after hitching a trailer, you can do it all without stepping out into the rain or fumbling with a tire gauge. It's a smart, convenient upgrade for any single-path air spring setup.
Pacbrake's military-grade solenoids, sealed connectors, and water-resistant components are built for trucks that live in the elements. From slogging through salty winter roads to summer dust and heat, this system is made to last.
The Bluetooth connection pairs quickly and reliably, even when you're miles from pavement. And with the included remote, you don't have to tie up your phone—just grab the remote, press a button, and dial in your air springs on the spot.
This kit is designed to be truly plug-and-play. With push-to-connect air fittings, pre-wired harnesses, and a Quick Mount bracket, you can bolt it up in about an hour. No wires through the firewall or tapping into cabin systems—just a clean install that looks like it came that way from the factory.

Hey there neighbor, it's Kevin with etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Pacbrake wireless air spring compressor system. If you've already installed air springs on your F-250 or you're in the market for some and you wanna get the whole set at once so that way you have a nice clean system where you're not having to lug around a compressor everywhere you go, just so that you can air up or air down your air springs, then Pacbrake has a awesome option for you with their wireless system here. Now this is gonna come as a all in one kind of complete kit here where it's just gonna be a simple mount up with two U-bolts that they'll have. As you can see down here, it's pretty tucked up against our frame rail here, so it is pretty much hidden. The only thing that kind of hangs down a little bit is just this one wire harness. That's probably the only drawback I see with this specific kit.
But overall, super simple to install with it being that U-bolt kit. And this is one where it's actually large enough to fit the frame rails of the F-250. A lot of other kits on the market don't come with large enough U-bolts for you to actually get that done. So every time you're doing that, you're usually having to drill into the frame rail, which ends up taking a lot of time. And typically when you go to shoot in the self-tapping screws into the frame rail, a lot of times those like to break off just 'cause it's such a hard steel that you're drilling into.
So then it's even more of a headache. With this one, there's also gonna be a complete wire harness kit where it's just really plug and play here at our compressor and then it's gonna run all the way up to our engine compartment so that we can make our connections to a fuse so that way we can get our ignition source so that way we don't have to worry about our compressor just running continuously overnight. And there is a slight draw that it would have if it doesn't have that ignition source. So if you are planning on just hooking this up to 12 volt constant and then not using that, you will have a slight draw on your battery. So you will wanna make sure that if maybe you have a weaker battery, you are going out and maybe plugging in and recharging it because it could end up draining just a bit overnight.
And then you might not be able to start your truck. Now this is paired up with some Firestone air springs. Our neighbor decided to go with those ones specifically today. So just so you know, you don't have to worry about matching brand for brand. This is something where everyone's gonna use the same quarter inch airline tubing so you can mix and match in that aspect.
Now we have standard duty airbags, so those are gonna go up to about 100 PSI. We wanna keep that at a minimum of five psi as well, just so that way if we are unloaded, we're not damaging our air springs. Along with that though, the air spring or the compressor itself is a standard duty compressor. So that is going to get you up to 100 PSI. So that way you can fully fill those bags. This one specifically can go up to 120. You wanna make sure that you don't overdo it and potentially put too much air in your air springs and have those explode on you. With this, it's gonna have a 9% duty cycle at 100 PSI. So that's gonna average out to around a five minute continuous runtime with your compressor and then you're gonna have to wait 55 minutes for it to cool down because the compressor does generate quite a bit of heat. So if this is a setup where you're only really airing up and down your springs maybe a couple of times a day, this would definitely cover that for you. But if you're the person where you're constantly airing up and down, maybe you're hauling a dump trailer, a lot of weight behind you, maybe varying loads throughout the day, that's where you're really gonna wanna switch up to more of that extreme duty, maybe get that onboard air tank as well so that way you have all that extra air to easily just throw right into the air springs and then have the compressor come up behind it and actually refill that air tank so that way you're not having to wait around while that compressor runs to get your air springs up to the correct PSI. Now, like I was saying, this install is super simple, just 'cause it is a plug and play set up for the most part. But that being said, you may not have time to actually get it installed. So if that's the case for you, please feel free to reach out and use our dealer locator. You can enter in your ZIP code and find a shop near you to get it professionally installed. But with all that being said, why don't we go ahead and show you it actually in use. Now I've got the truck running, I did tie into the ignition, so this is only gonna work when we have the truck running. If I hit the power button on the side of our remote, it's gonna have "Welcome to Pacbrake Wireless" and to connect to your device. So every time you turn the power off, it's gonna need to reconnect. So right now it's loading. So once it's done scanning, it'll show the connection to your compressor. You're gonna just hit the little x button in the corner there to close out of that. And then you can see we have our presets. I have already set the first preset at five just so that anytime we're done we can easily just tap that button, it's gonna drop it right back down to that safe unloaded ride. And down at five PSI, you see two and three, those are the other two presets that you can use. So whatever you'd wanna set that to, you just get your airbags up to that pressure and then hold onto that either two or three and then that will set it to that. Now with this one you can set it to dual path or to single. We have this set up in a single path system. So we are going to switch over to combined and all you have to do is just tap that little center button right there and it'll switch over to it. Now with our air spring here, it's going to not allow you to just set it like other ones will. Like before, like with Air Lift or Firestone, you'd set it to say 20 PSI. This one you have to sit there and kind of hold it. And that's only just giving you a live reading of what's in the bag. So when I let go, now we're at 24 PSI. So if I wanted to keep filling up and up and up, I would have to sit there and hold it to whatever PSI I wanted. (compressor whirring) So if you go into the settings, you can also change that down to just that single path system and then you don't have that little button there to switch between combined or single. But that being said, there really isn't much more to this remote. They do have a app for your smartphone as well, which is gonna give you the same features as the remote and that's gonna allow you to see what your PSI level is at and then adjust it. So Pacbrake is one of the newer air spring companies that we do offer here. I highly recommend picking up some of their products, whether that's the air springs or the compressor, just because they do a really nice job with their packaging. They give you really nice instructions. Everything is actually printed in color instead of just black and white. So you can actually see what you're looking at in those diagrams. 'Cause a lot of the other manufacturers out there really just kind of give you a messy black and white picture where you can't really tell what you're looking at. So it can be a little bit harder to make that install complete, whereas Pacbrake gives you something that's gonna be a lot more user friendly so that way you at home can install this yourself instead of having to spend a bunch of extra money on labor. So with all that being said, my name's Kevin, and I hope this video helped you out.
