Today's we're gonna take a look at the Roadmaster 6-wire Flexo-Coil Cord. Now this will replace a damaged 6-wire electrical cord on the Roadmaster Flexo-Coil kit part number RM1466. Now we do sell those kits separately on our website. This is the coil cord only. The connectors we do sell separately. Does require the 6-pole round trailer connectors part number RM-910030-8.
Again, we do sell those separately also, and they are listed on this product page as a related product.Now this is a 6-wire extension cord that can be used for multiple towing application. Perfect for running power from your RV to your tow vehicle. It easily and effectively connects your motor home to your tow vehicle, and it's a water, oil and chemical resistant cord. Does use the Flexo-Coil technology which you can see it allows the cord to extend more than 8' in length and then contract conveniently for storage, while also prevents dragging and tangling. My RV "Fred" tows "Wilma" for a great product, the Blue Ox tow bar. The blue connector coiling wire (Blue Ox BX88206 Coiled Cable with Female Receptor $81.21) just disintegrated, so I need a new cord. The connectors were still OK, but Blue Ox absolutely refused to just give me only the cord. Your coiled wire is just what I needed. Just a screwdriver needs the job. Just be careful what wire goes where, and Fred and Wilma are happy, back to the open road.

- Is there a 7-Wire Hopkins Flex-Coil Cord without Trailer Connectors AttachedThere is a 6-wire Flexo-Coil cord, # RM-1046-R, with just the wires but there is no 7-wire option. There is also a 4-wire version, # RM-1064-B. The # HM47075 cable is only going to have 5 wires inside since the one end can only be used on a 5-Way or 4-Way flat trailer connector. The wires inside the 6-wire # RM-1046-R is 14 gauge. This is not the ideal size for brake or 12 volt line. You could just use jacketed 7-wire, # DW04914-1 which has 6 wires that are 12 gauge and 1 that is 10 gauge...

We don't have an option that comes this way but you can put one together yourself with the right parts. You need the # RM-1046-R for the wiring. Then for the 6-pole you need the # RM-910030-8 and for the 7-pole on the other end the # PK11700.
