Today we're going to take a look at the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Custom Mounting Brackets for the fifth wheel above-bed base rail. This is a custom-fit part. It is designed to fit the 2002-2012 Dodge Ram and Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 series trucks with either the six-foot bed or the eight-foot bed. Now I know on any custom-fit part, I like to recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide. Put in your year model vehicle and it will show if these will work for your application. These installation brackets mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide the attachment points for your fifth wheel rails. Now the base rails, we do sell separately on our website.
It's part number DM6071 and the rails will sit in you truck bed, and they allow the installation of the fifth wheel trailer hitch to your truck. These custom-fit brackets are designed to mount to existing holes in your vehicle's frame. If yo you can see, they're all labeled for what position they go in. This will help minimize drilling, reduces installation time, and it also is known to avoid known obstacles along your truck's frame. All these parts are a sturdy steel construction with a nice black powder-coat finish to help resist corrosion. All the hardware is included to install this.

Didn’t exactly fit as described but was easy to make adjustments and seems to work fine
This kit was perfect for what I needed. I didn't want to pay the high cost of installation and I didn't want to drill through my truck's heavy duty boxed frame. I installed this by myself within a couple of hours. The instructions made sense and after a year of use the hardware still looks like new.
