Hello neighbors and friends, Steve here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking together at our Demco Hijacker Premier Series custom mounting brackets for your Fifth Wheel above bed base rails. Now folks, those base rails are sold separately, that's item number DM6071. But getting into this bracket kit itself, it is a custom fit application. Looks like it fits the '07 through '13 GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado, all bed lengths. With that being said, make sure you're checking our fit guide here at etrailer.com.

Top center of the homepage where it says My Vehicle Information, enter things like year, make and model, body style, bed length, those kind of things. Make sure you're getting the right parts the first time, and it could possibly be that the video's just outdated and it could possibly fit newer years as well. Now these brackets here do install underneath your truck bed to provide an attachment point for your Fifth Wheel rails. They are marked on each side. This one here says passenger, the other one's driver.

So from your angle, I believe, it would look something like this up on the frame of the vehicle. And then in the top of the bed of the truck, you would then have the base rail running perpendicular with the bed, I believe it is that you would then mount your Fifth Wheel Hijacker to. Now, these are custom fit brackets. They're gonna mount into existing holes into the vehicle frame so you don't have to worry about drilling or anything. That's gonna drastically reduce the installation time.

All the included brackets, hardware, nuts, bolts, even give you a fish wire here to fish some of the stuff through the frame. You've got these guys with the welded nuts in place to grab at the right place on the frame per the instructions. This will also avoid known obstacles along the truck's frame for installation. It's all a black, hardened black powder coater steel on the outside, so it's gonna resist corrosion. Again, all the hardware's included.
