Video Transcript for Checking Out the B and B Aluminum Check Valve Test Plug for Water Distribution Testing

Hello, neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at our B&B aluminum check valve test plug for your water distribution testing. It is an anodized blue color, and this plug would be used for testing a dry plumbing system integrity before you fill it with water at the start of every season. You simply would thread into the city water fill with the check valve. You would tighten until the gasket compresses. And then you would check the valve, you know, make sure that check valve opens.

And there's the gasket there that will compress. You did use your compressor to add air into your system to detect any leaks throughout your plumbing system. So that then would require you to use a compressor, air hose, and a 1/4-inch MPT, or male pipe thread, fitting. This has been machined out of aluminum with a nice blue anodized finish. And you can see it's threaded inside, as well as the outside.

And once again, there's that nice gasket on there. It has been certified and made right here in the US. And it requires an insertion thread standard MGHT and an inlet thread of 1/4-inch FPT.
