Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the sleeping bag liner from AceCamp. This is a great way to add a little extra insulation to your existing sleeping bag. This is a rectangle style or an envelope style so it will fit that same shape sleeping bag. The material is pongee, traditionally this was a Chinese fabric made of silk, very thin material with a very loose weave, but still very structurally sound. This is actually made out of polyester, but it has that same sort of weave and it gives you a really nice, very soft, smooth material that does have a lot of breathability. It also compacts down fairly small.Take a look at the material, it's got a shininess, that's because it is made out of a polyester, but it does give you a nice breathability.

You can again, use this inside your sleeping bag to give you a little more heat and also it helps to just have this liner in there so you don't have to worry about washing your sleeping bag all the time. If you tend to sweat in your sleep, you can just pop this in the wash instead and it helps you to not have to wash your bag as often, which can be cumbersome. You can also use this on its own, if you want to have a barrier between you and maybe a hostel bed, that is not always the cleanest or you're inside a tent in warmer climates and you just need a little something to be a little insulating, but not as big and confining as a sleeping bag.Since it is such a breathable fabric, it doesn't give you any wind protection so it's not really good for being out in the open. But again, if you're indoors or you're in your tent, it should work pretty well as that nice insulating layer. The care on this is to wash it warm and then hang to dry.

Since it does have that loose weave fabric, it should dry fairly quickly. Give you a closer look at that fabric so you can see the texture. Nice and soft, pretty lightweight, you can see my hand through there, so not super see-through, but there is a little bit there.This does fit in an adult size sleeping bag. The length overall is about 81 inches long, it's 206 centimeters, that's about 81 inches and then 75 centimeters or about 29 and a half inches wide. The opening is sewn on just the- wrong side, one corner.

It just splits open there and then it's closed on the other side so it gives you the spot to get in there and get snugly. It does come with a little carrying case to wrap this up whenever you're done. See if I can get that put away fairly quickly.Now we do have other materials available here at etrailer. We're going to have cotton, poly-cotton, pongee and then polyester. I would say, this is probably one of the lightest ones.

The lightest overall is the polyester and that's probably the most compact as well. This one is probably the second most compact. Cotton would be the heaviest and probably give you the most insulation as well. It just depends on what you're looking for out of that liner.I didn't do the best job of compacting this down. You might really have to roll it tight and might need to roll a little bit differently, but just to give you an idea of putting it back in its little satchel. Not going to waste your time with that, but whenever it's compacted down, it measures roughly six and a half inches by about three and a half. That gives you an idea of how small it gets whenever it's packed up.Well, I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is going to be the right liner for you.
