GSP offers 4 types of CV axles based on your vehicle and riding habits. The OE+ model is an affordable OEM replacement with neoprene boots. The Heavy Duty (HD) axle has a stronger shaft and TPEE boots that are better than OEM axles. The Xtreem Duty (XD) is 30% stronger than OEM axles and includes a thicker shaft for riding hard and racing. The XD is often used on lifted vehicles. The Xtended axle is a specialty product for those with long travel suspensions. It includes the same quality features of the HD axle but is longer to accomodate different builds.

Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, let's take a look together at our GSP OE+ CV Axle Assembly, specifically for the front. Now, folks, this is a custom fit, it looks like it's gonna fit a '07 through 2014 Honda TRX 420. Now, that being said, I want you to double check our fit guide here at etrailer.com. Enter your year, make, and model of your Honda and everything, make sure you're getting the right one for your specific needs. Now, this does fit the front, left or right side, depending on which one you need it for.
And I'll throw up a graphic here for the replacement brands and their part numbers to match up with this in case you already have one of those sitting around or on your machine. Now, folks, with this, you can upgrade. This is gonna be a lot better quality than your OE. And this is an OE+ CV axle, so it's gonna have a steel alloy shaft here. It's a 40Cr(XC) material, it's hardened steel, and it is built to resist wear and tear.
Again, it fits the front, right or left. Now, these are oversized CV joints. They're gonna let you climb through rough terrain and crawl over obstacles. So you see they got a lot of movement on both sides. They even give you the axle nut on this side here.
That way, you can, you know, finish the installation out of the box, ready to go, preassembled. They are flexible and tough neoprene boots, they're gonna resist tearing and cracking. And they've already been pre-packed with a nice high performance moly grease to reduce friction. Now, overall, the extended length is 19.49 inches, while the compressed measurement overall would be 18.07 inches. Now, the inboard has what's called a double offset joint, and it has a spline quantity of 20, while the outboard has a regular ball style joint, and the spline quantity is 21.
It's a 20 millimeter thick axle beam here in the center. And they give you a nice one-year warranty from the manufacturer. Folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look at this GSP OE+ CV Axle Assembly, again, for the front of your Honda TRX 420. Maybe you need one, pick up two, just so you have an extra one for the trails. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
Way helpful
Excellent all the way around. I've been trying so hard to find the right part and they had it at about half the price of OEM and aftermarket parts I've found anywhere. Super fast shipping and I look forward to doing business again, thanks so much?!!!!
