This receiver is the most heavy duty one I have seen. Thick strong welds. I broke a lighter duty Kolpin receiver in two when it contacted the ground crossing over rocks and felled trees. I use this on my 2013 Can Am Outlander with a double receiver that accepts standard sizes. Many ATV owners may need to cut off a little of the tube to fit the receiver.

This hitch is well made, and fits great in the hitch on my garden tractor. I like it because, I can use it to hook my lawn roller or my aerator up, that have two different types of hitches. It also gave me the extra length i needed to keep my three point hitch from interfering with the cement blocks on my aerator.

This hitch works well on my utv. I pull a lawn sweeper and use a ball hitch trailer around my yard and is is nice not to have to pull the hitch each time I switch.

Ball Mount Recommendation for a Polaris Ranger UTV with 2 inch Hitch
For a UTV a lot of guys like the part # C45009 which has a 2 inch ball and a clevis bar or the part # C45005 which has a 1-7/8 inch ball and the clevis bar. Both of these have a 1/4 inch rise.

The closest option we have would be the Brophy Clevis Mount for 1-1/4 inch hitches part # CM91 which can use a standard ball mount or can have a clevis pin part # CP91 installed. For trailer balls, use # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball and # 19258 for a 2 inch ball.

The capacity of the Curt Ball Mount for 2" ATV Hitches # C45005 is the same as the capacity of any ATV hitch it would be used in. It does not have a stated capacity beyond that but basically your ATV hitch would fail before it would. It is a hollow shank too. The length is 6 inches from the pin hole to the center of the hitch ball and 7-1/2 inches from the center of the pin hole to the center of the clevis hole.

Extension of Curt Clevis Trailer Ball Ball Mount # C45005 Used With Hidden Hitch # HE18 Extender
I'm assuming you're speaking of the Curt 1-7/8 ball and Clevis Mount, part # C45005, is that correct? If you were to use the # C45005 in combination with the # HE18, you would indeed get 24 inches of extension, measured from the hitch pin hole in the receiver hitch o your EZ-GO cart tot he trailer ball on the # C45005. However, using the extension will lower the tongue weight capacity of the hitch by half. I've provided a photo showing the dimensions of the two parts when used together.

Does Draw Tite Hitch work with ATV Curt Ball Mount for 2014 Dodge Durango
The Draw Tite hitch part # DT38MR is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Dodge Durango and would work great with just the ball mount portion of the # C45029 but since you'd already have a hitch you wouldn't need this full kit and could instead use just the part # C45005 instead.
