Video Transcript for Review of Sylvania Vehicle Lights - 168 White LED ZEVO Light Bulbs - SY58BR

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at the Sylvania 168 White LED ZEVO Light Bulbs. These highly-efficient LED bulbs are designed for use with interior accessory lighting. And these LED bulbs can be a great upgrade or replacement option for you. In case for some reason, these lights are gonna work for exterior purposes for you on your vehicle. It is important to make sure that your state authorizes or allows for LED upgrades.

In some states, LED upgrades are not street legal, so you do wanna be sure to check all state regulations, especially for the state that you're living in. So as I mentioned, the bulb type is 168, the bulb shape is T-10. And at the bottom of the graphic there, I'm including the number for the base information there for you. These do have a dual-sided LED and a dual-sided base that's going to eliminate polarity issues. And these feature a bright 6,000 kelvin cool, white light output.

So they're gonna be an excellent light source with brightness and clarity. They're designed for longevity with heat management and shock protection. These are gonna be a pretty easy installation into a standard socket. If you noticed, I am wearing gloves. And it's a good idea to wear gloves, or at least use a clean shop towel when replacing your bulbs, so you don't transfer the oils from your skin to the bulbs.

Now, some vehicles may require the use of load resistors when upgrading. Resistors prevent hyper flash and error codes. So if you find out that you might need those resistors, on your screen, I am including our part number for Sylvania's resistors. You can just take that part number and pop it in the search field of our website, and that will take you to those resistors and you can add those to your order. It is recommended to replace bulbs on both sides of the vehicle if you're gonna be using these for exterior lighting, just to maintain that consistent light color and level.
