Are the Thule Artificial Rain Gutters Made of Plastic

Hello again. Are these actually plastic? The are listed as plastic on Amazon. That would explain the relatively low cargo load of 165lbs.

Hey Sue, the Thule Artificial Rain Gutters # TH542 are not made of plastic. If they were they wouldn't hold up at all. These are metal. 165 lbs is actually the industry standard for roof rack weight capacities so that number actually isn't lower than most options.
