Question:

Hi there. Working on a custom project adding pintle and ball hitch on a semi truck. Looking to buy your 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector kit but also need wiring for them. Can you help me with wiring for both? Cant find for some reason. A link would be very helpful. Thank you

Hello Mike, thanks for reaching out. The best way to add a 7-way to a semi is by adding a whole separate RV 7-way in addition to the current semi 7-way. To do this you'll need a converter # 119250KIT. Then to install the actual RV 7-way use install kit # ETBC7 which will also include everything to install a brake controller. For a brake controller you can use any standard controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885. You'll likely need additional wire # 16-4B-1 for 16 gauge which can be used on all tail light wires. The # ETBC7 kit I mentioned comes with 25' of wire. Take a look at the diagram I included. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help!

Hey Mike, how did your wiring setup go on the semi with the converter and ETBC7 kit? Your results could really help others working on a similar custom project.
