Can The Demco Commander II Non-Binding Tow Bar DM9511012 Attach To A Blue Ox Base Plate?

I already have a Demco Commander 2 tow bar Model Number 9511012, Rated at 6000s, and would like to pair it with the Blue Ox baseplate for my 2008 Mini Cooper. Will they work together?

Hi Kris!
The Demco Commander II Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511012 you have can be made to fit the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1303 for a 2008 Mini Cooper convertible. You will need the Demco Tow Bar Adapter Brackets for Blue Ox Base Plates # DM9523041. This replaces the base plate connector I have circled in yellow in the picture I attached. Once those are on, you are good to go!

Thank you for the information I needed to merge my Demco Tow Bar with a Blue Ox base plate for my Mini Cooper, as a base plate for Mini Coopers is not offered by Demco.
