Will Installation of WeatherTech Custom Fit Hood Protector Damage Paint or Ceramic Coating
Question:
I have a new Honda crv sport L with a ceramic coating. Can I safely stick a hood deflector on it and not cause damage to paint or coating? Could it be removed later?

Hey William! The WeatherTech Custom Fit Hood Protector # WT54KF will not damage paint or ceramic coating. However, adhesives on applications like this tend to not stick well to a ceramic coat. If you're going to use this I recommend removing the ceramic coating where the hood protector attaches. The paint will still be protected by the hood protector. To remove it all you need is a hair dryer or heat gun. This fits the 2023 - 2026 Honda CR-V.
