Does 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500 Need Front End Suspension Support When Going to Heavier Bumper
Question:
2025 Chevy 2500 LT Crewcab 4wd - I am going to add a grill guard bumper / bumper replacement. The approximate weight of the bumper is 320 lbs, would this be the appropriate addition for front end support, or is none necessary? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
Hey Jon, 320 lbs is a lot of weight and since your truck is a 2500 I would go with the # SSF-202-47 to provide some additional support. This will also help with braking and handling as well since the weight won't want to transfer as hard under braking and turning.
