Could Rack Em Dolly be Used To Back Trailer Down Incline

Question:

I have purchased a 5x10 cargo trailer that weights 1060 lbs. Id like to store it behind my house but my driveway has an approx 10 incline and on the side it is level but there is a small section coming off the driveway down the side of the house that dips down more steeply - maybe 20. This section is grass though I may put down gravel or eventually pave it. Would this trailer dolly be good for manually moving the trailer to the backyard? Of course the trailer would be empty and as mentioned is 1060 lbs. I read the comments and seems one customer has said that his driveway was steep and he used it to move his boat and I saw pictures of someone that used it to pull a boat into a toy hauler - so it seems like it would work. Just wanted to get thoughts/advice. Thanks

Hey Jay, so there's a chance the # RA20 would work just fine for what you are wanting to do but in reality I can't say for certain as that's going to depend on a few things like how strong you are, how long the distance is for the 10 inch drop etc. It's possible but I also don't want to be like "oh yeah go for it" and have it be a worse case scenario setup and it drags you down the hill.

A better option would be a Trailer Valet XL part # TVXL2 which has brake built into it and has ability to control speed via crank on side of it.
