Availability 7-Way Round to 4-Way Flat Adapter

Question:

I have an 08 Ford F-350 super duty XL with a 7-way round pin receptacle. I need a 4 pin 5 pin flat adapter plug to connect to this to facilitate two smaller trailers that I have . The 4/5 pin flat adapter can accompany other modern adapters as long as it has the 7-pole round female at one end to plug into myy trucks receptacle. Thanks!

Hey Willyd, it looks like you have a 7-way round connector which is a bit more rare and for that we only have a 7-way to 4-way adapter like the part # 47405. Does your trailer with a 5-way actually use the 5th circuit? If so what is it for?

Actually I was jus hinting that if the flat end of the adapter had both 4 and 5 pin it would be fine. But no, my little trailers only utilize the 4 flat. I am about to get one of those bigger Lowes tractor trailers so I want to prepare my truck to be ready for it. Which is why I want an adapter with both the 4-pin flat and whatever those bigger trailer takes. So many I need the newer type 7 pin adapter...

@Willyd If you'd be willing to replace the 7-way you have now with a more standard 7-way blade that would make life easier as that's a WAY more popular connector.

@JamesonC yes I will do that but do you have a 7 blade that also have a 4 pin connection as well?

@Willyd Yes we do have 7-way connectors you can install on your vehicle that has a 4-way as well. I have the part # HM40950 installed on my Tahoe and it works great for both. You'll also need the install harness part # C56229 to wire it to your vehicle wiring once you remove your current 7-way.
