Another 8-14.5 tire would be the only way to go, # AM10327. Half sizes, like this 14.5, are not common and there isn't a metric equivalent.

This particular tire is rated for 3,070 pounds at 116 psi and is a replacement for motor home axles, which is why you do not see a lot of tires in this size. It is a specialty size because mobile home axles are meant for one-time use only.

Hello there. I really like your comments they are of great help. I just have one question. When you say 14.5 its a specialty size because they are meant for mobil homes and that mobil home axels are meant for one time use only. Does that apply also to the wheel and tires ?

I have a home made car hauler that has 14.5 mobil home wheels and 7-14.5 tires on it does the one time use apply for my car hauler trailer as well? Is this type of wheel/tire only meant for one time use ,should i consider changing wheels and tires if im constantly hauling cars in in. ? I rsally though that by having this kind of wheel and tire. ,being that they came off a mobil home ,i though they would be a lot safer or heavier duty than regular trailer tires. ?

That's a really good question. Basically if the tires are labeled as motorhome tires then they need to be swapped out for regular trailer tires if you're using the trailer regularly. Mobile Home axles and tires/wheels are essentially more heavy duty but they aren't built to last. There are a lot of people that use motorhome axles but replacement parts can be hit or miss and then they are only designed for 1 trip so I wouldn't trust them.
