Recommended Weight Distribution Hitch For 2021 Ram 1500 TRX Towing a 15,000 lbs Trailer
Question:
Have a 2021 TRX truck and need to haul my John Deere tractor or mini Excavator no more than 60 miles at anyone time. I have a trailer rated for 15,000 lbs but makes the TRX squat too much. My max tongue weight is 1100 lbs, reciever is 2. What weight distribution hitch do you suggest?

Expert Reply:
Since your tow vehicle is a 2021 Ram 1500 TRX, I recommend the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control item # BXW1500. The reason for this is the rear coil springs Ram uses in the TRX's are very soft and cause a lot of sag when towing. We have run into issues where customers still had too much sag which causes a lot of side to side and fore and aft trailer movement while on the road.
