Recommended Propane Hose With a Quick Disconnect and Disposable Cylinder Connection
Question:
I have an RV with a frame-mounted 24-gallon propane tank. There is currently no quick-disconnect for use with a portable grill. I want to install one on the high-pressure side of the RV regulator. I need a tee between the tank shut-off valve and the thermal pigtail hose that supplies the RV regulator. I also need a quick-disconnect valve that will attach to the tee. Lastly. I have a 12-foot quick-disconnect hose with regulator that is attached to the grill but I need a long extension hose that will connect between the new quick-disconnect valve and the hose attached to the grill. Can you please recommend part numbers for these three items? Thank you!

It sounds like you're looking for something like the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting w Hose - Type 1 Valve - Quick Disconnect, Disposable Cylinder Ports # 103615.
This kit lets you use an auxiliary propane cylinder to power appliances so you won't deplete your camper's tank, has a quick-disconnect port to allow for easy hook up of your supply hose, and has a disposable bottle port so you can hook up a small appliance.
Finally, for an extension hose, you can use the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose - Model 250 Quick-Disconnect x Disposable Cylinder Port # 100476-120-MBS which is a 10' long and has both a quick disconnect and a Male #600 (1"-20) disposable cylinder port.
