Lightest 205/75/R15 Trailer Tire & Wheel With 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern For Spare

Question:

Im looking to replace a heavy spare wheel+tire on my trailer with a lightweight temporary/convenience/donut wheel+tire. The spare tire is ST235/75R15, on a 15 rim with 5×4.5 bolt pattern. I have already replaced the 235/75R15 tires with 205/75/R15 tires on the same rims. The 205/75R15 tires have a nominal diameter 27.1 The new temporary/convenience/donut spare tire should be within 1 of the same diameter – lets say no less than 26.1. The wheel can be either 15 or 14 So, what temporary/convenience/donut wheel+ tire do you recommend? What do you sell? Weight is crucial. I do not plan to use the spare tire for anything but limping to a tire shop for repair.

We want to keep trailer tires - even spares - the same size, so because you have 205/75/R15 tires now, that's what you should go with. You mentioned 27.1" diameter, which is exactly right for that size tire, and because you said weight is crucial, I'll go ahead and give you the lightest option for a 205/75/R15 tire and wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern:

- Castle Rock ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" White Mod Wheel # LHACK120

The # LHACK120 weighs 39 lbs, which is the lightest tire/wheel for this combo, so that's what I recommend going with.
