Does Installing a Hitch Void the Warranty on a 2024 Subaru Outback?
Question:
Does installing an aftermarket hitch void any warranties I need to be aware of? Which one would you recommend for a 2024 Subaru Outback?

Expert Reply:
No, it does not. You're covered by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, which refers to the fact that a manufacturer cannot void your warranty if you install something from a 3rd party, such as a trailer hitch.
The best hitch for your 2024 Subaru Outback is the etrailer item # e25TR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Subaru with included hardware. I really like this hitch because the entire crosstube mounts behind the rear bumper leaving only the 2" receiver exposed.
The etrailer Hitch item # e25TR is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 350 lbs maximum tongue weight.
I have linked an installation video so you can see how to get this hitch set up.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56040 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
