Question:
I do not have the puck system and need to get my truck set up to tow my 5th wheel trailer. I have a 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 and a Reese M5 hitch. What do I need?

To add a set of 5th wheel rails to your 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500, I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Installation Kit w/ Base Rails item # RP84FR. This set of rails is industry standard which means it will work with your Reese M5 item # RP30928 and most 5th wheel hitches on the market. The brackets are custom fit and install in pre-existing holes in your Chevy's frame. The custom fit brackets work with both the 6-3/4' and 8' bed lengths.
I have linked the installation instructions below so you can see how to get these 5th wheel rails installed.
To make towing with a 5th wheel easier, I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long item # C58FV. This harness puts a 4-way and 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
