Question:

Hello: I just got a new job as a Chef up at the Big Bear Resort in California. They are telling me that I will need chains for the winter season. Can you please suggest what chains I will need for my vehicle? I know zero about this subject. Oh and also, its a FWD. Thanks for your help and have a good day!

The owner's manual for a 2017 Chevy Equinox states that you would need to S-Class cables instead of chains due to clearance issues and that they can only be installed on the front tires. Stock tires for a 2017 Chevy Equinox would have a 225/65R17 tire size so you would need the Titan Chain Cable Tire Chain # TC1042.

Before purchasing check the sidewall of your tires to make sure the tire size code matches, if not let me know and I'll get you the correct size cables.
