Question:
I have a 2020 Honda Pilot AWD. We are looking at a 3000 lb camper loaded weight hopefully no more than 3500. I would like to know if that car will realistically and reliably pull. I am an old school frame on body pick up guy but we gave those up a few years back and don’t want to back to that. Longest haul would be from Ohio to Florida where we would at least annually go to visit family. It could get a lot of use as we are recently retired. Thank you!

I looked up the towing capacity of your 2020 Honda Pilot and the AWD models are rated at towing a trailer up to 5,000 lbs so a 3,500 lb trailer like you mentioned wouldn't be a problem at all.
For a hitch the etrailer part # e98840 is a confirmed fit and would work great. It has more than enough capacity and also is mostly hidden. For a 7-way trailer wiring harness the Tekonsha part # 118286 would be a great option that's easy to install and very reliable.
