Question:
The retaining or locking tab for the door of our new tankless water heater has broken. I have it held in place a washer and nut. Is there a replacement part that I can easily install?

Yes, there is a replacement option that is pretty easy to install.
You want the Camco Cam Locks for RV Water Heater # CAM09213. I do not know what water heater you have, but most have the same latch style that will use the # CAM09213.
