What is the purpose of the tile and tub caulking? Where at do I use it?

Typically people will use caulk around the deck plate of a faucet like the RV Kitchen Faucet w/ Pull Down Spout # 277-000129 to secure it in place over any old inlet holes and prevent any water that might be on the counter from leaking in under the faucet. It's more of a preference than a requirement when it comes to RV's, so you could skip this if you didn't want to.
