The Curt A-Series line is the premium version over the Q-Series line and comes with a few differences. One major difference being the jaw design for the A-Series, which overlaps itself instead of just butting up to itself like the Q-Series does. This allows for a more secure connection to the king pin. The other major difference is that the head is made stronger in order to withstand the pressure from a rotating pin box. The Q-Series is incompatible with rotating pin boxes like the Reese Sidewinder, as well as with Rota-Flex pin box which pivots at the king pin to reduce road shock.
Personally, If I had to choose between the A or Q Series for your 2022 Ford F-350 with an 8' bed and OEM prep package I would go with the A-Series # C16034 for the superior design and ability to fit right into the puck system in your bed without the need for an adapter. This hitch head is going to be more compatible with other pin boxes if you ever swap out your trailer later on so it makes sense to go with this to save money down the road.
