Can A Blown Copper Pipe In The Excel RV Tankless Water Heater Be Repaired
Question:
My RV ran out of propane during the last freeze and in my absence the top copper elbow froze and burst. Can it be economically repaired or is it scrap now? It is the last elbow near the temperature sensor, but unfortunately is not the one that has exposed solder joints.

There's probably somebody out there that would be able to fix this blown pipe, but you'll most likely spend more than the entire unit is worth trying to fix it. I recommend replacing the entire unit and trying to get some scrap money out of the copper you have there to try and mitigate the cost of replacing your Excel RV Tankless Water Heater # EX93FR.
