Question:
Q : Your photo shows... crosschain then 3 side links then a crosschain. Do you make / carry a model that has example, crosschain then 2 side links then crosschain? this would provide more crosschains and less exposed tire. I would think this would give me more positiveinch down-hill braking less chance of slipping Also, relating to my initial post, what is the length of the cross chain for the General Grabber Acrtic LT245-75R-16? Im curious about how much sidewall gripinch your recommended V-Bar chains will give me when Im off-road on a Search Mission. AND Thank you for suggesting the Titan model that does NOT have the cam adjusters. Id rather not be worrying about relatively unnecessary parts and piecesinch in my chains. A very good pair of tensioners and the occational tire checkinch doesnt take that long and should be done anyway! Thanks again and I will be looking forward to your reply... The Glacier Tire Chains with Cam Tighteners # PWH2821SC that you referenced is a confirmed fit for the LT245/75R16 tire size you have and because of that would not require taking any measurements. Due to how the chains fit on tires there really isn't a good way to measure them to determine what size tire they would fit so relying on fit info from manufacturer is best option. We do sell replacement cross chains for this with the part # TC6860.
For a similar chain to this one that does not have the cam tensioners you'd want the part # TC2821.
