Portable Air Compressor Capable of Inflating to 80 PSI Without Overheating
Question:
Good morning, I just got an email portable air compressors from you all. I was wondering which one you recommend for my situation. I have a Sierra 3500 and recommended tire pressure is 60/80. My trailer tires are 80PSI as well. Most of the portable ones I have tried in the past overheat and cant handle that high of pressure. Thank you!

If you are worried about the compressor overheating at those pressures, I recommend using the Viair Automatic RV Portable Air Compressor # VA59WR. This portable air compressor will work with tires up to 40" in diameter and has a fill rate to 100-110 PSI in about 4 minutes. It has a max PSI of 150 and it can be operated for up to an hour at 100 PSI before needing to be rested. So you should have no issue with this compressor over heating at 80 PSI.
