Portable Solar Panel To Use With Go Power Solar On 2021 Forest River NOBO 19.5 Travel Trailer Camper
Published 08/17/2022 >
Question:
I have a 2021 Forest River NOBO 19.5 with a factory installed solar panel on the roof and a controller inside the unit. I would like to expand my solar capabilities by adding a remote panel that can be placed in the sun while my camper is under the trees in the shade. What is the most efficient way to do this?

I recommend using the Go Power Portable Solar Panel with Digital Solar Controller in either a 200 Watt # 34282610, 130 Watt # 34282730 or 90 Watt # 34282729 setup. These kits will allow you to either connect to the batteries directly or you will also be able to connect to one of the charge ports if your 2021 Forest River NOBO 19.5 came with that provision. It looks like most only have the roof mounted connector. These kits will all include 12 feet of cable to allow you to keep your camper in the shade and still get the benefit of solar charging.
