We have a couple of options for 7,000 lb disc brake conversion kits that have oil bath hubs; one comes with 9/16" wheel studs and the other comes with 1/2" wheel studs:
- 9/16" Wheel Studs: Dexter Disc Brake Kit # K71-694-695-13
- 1/2" Wheel Studs: Dexter Disc Brake Kit # K71-694-695-11
These kits come with everything you need to make the conversion to disc brakes, you just need to ensure you have a 5-bolt brake mounting flange and that your current hubs use inner bearing 25580 (1.75" inner diameter) and outer bearing 14125A (1.25" inner diameter).
You can do this by removing your current hub and looking at the bearings; the number should be stamped on them. Otherwise you'd need to use a digital caliper and measure the inner diameter of the bearings to see if they match the inner diameters I listed.
