Question:

Looking in getting some air bags for my 2017 Ford F150. Wondering which brand you recommend? How difficult is it the install, where do you mount the fittings to pump air Into the bags?

For your 2017 F-150 I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2582. These fit both the 2WD and 4WD models. These air bags have a 4,800 lbs capacity and maintain even load distribution with air pressure by leveling off-center loads.

I have linked an installation video below that should be able to answer your questions on difficutly. Without knowing your skill level and access to a lift I can't be more specific. There is no drilling required and the air fitting is on top of the air bags inside the mounting bracket. It is protected but accessible.

I also recommend adding the Firestone Air Command II item # F2219 on board air compressor to your set up. This dual path compressor will allow you to adjust your air springs individually to compensate for off center loads like heavy slide outs.
