I recommend you only consider an inverter type generator. From the specs available to me online, your 2019 Forest River Salem 30KQBSS Travel Trailer is a 50-Amp service with 2nd A/C Prep option. If you have have the second AC unit installed or a 30-Amp service instead, please let me know. But based on these specs, I recommend the Champion 9,000-Watt Dual Fuel Inverter Generators w/ Parallel Kit for 7,000 Running Watts, # CH49FR. This option will operate up to 14 hours on gasoline, or up to 21 hours with a 20lb propane tank.
These portable, dual fuel inverter generators work together to provide 7,000-watts using the 50-Amp parallel kit. This provides you with a 120V 50-amp 14-50R RV outlet to connect your RV to same as a campsite power pedestal. If your power needs at the time do not require the higher wattage and 50-Amp service, you can use a single generator for 30-Amp service. This will still be enough to power a single AC unit under most circumstances along with lower power draw items, But, it will not allow use of the microwave at the same time as powering the AC.
If you are not already using a surge protector, I highly recommend adding one. I suggest the Portable - 50 Amp, Power Watchdog Surge Protector with Bluetooth, # HU47FR.
