Question:
Mazda 2008 model cx9 I want a way to install the transmission cooler model No. D13403 because the factory coolant has four slots while D13403 has two slots, so how is the application? Or cancel the factory coolant and rely only on the coolant number D13403 and the transmission coolant attached to the car from the factory in the car completely? See your answer before buying.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The factory transmission cooler on your 2008 Mazda CX-9 will only have an inlet and a return. Two of the four you are seeing are for your oil cooler or something else. You will be able to install the Derale 19-Row Stacked-Plate Transmission Cooler Kit, -6 AN Inlets - Class V # D13403 with your vehicle as long as you have the space to accommodate it. Make sure when you install the cooler that you connect it to the correct lines. The factory transmission cooler lines will be the ones running to the transmission.
