What Ladder Rack Fits with My Peragon Tonneau Cover on My 2020 Toyota Tacoma 6-Foot Bed?

Hi I own a 2020 Tacoma Access Cab 6ft bed I recently ordered a Peragon tonneau bed cover which has yet to arrive .I need a Ladder rack for my truck solution. I’m interesting in the Thule tracrac sr sliding truck bed ladder rack -for its 1250 lbs capacity or something similar. I’m hoping you can guide me in making my ladder rack purchase.

I have a tonneau cover answer for you. Without knowing the exact way the Peragon tonneau cover mounts to your 6-foot bed on your 2020 Toyota Tacoma access cab, I cannot confirm for sure if there is a compatible ladder rack with your truck.

However, there is a way that you can determine if you can use a ladder rack. If the stake pockets on your truck are completely open, you can use a stake-pocket mounted ladder rack. Also, with newer models of Toyotas, the stake pockets may be completely covered by the rail caps on the bed. If this is the case, you will need to cut the space covering the stake pockets in order to expose the pockets. Even if this is the case, those pockets must be fully exposed in order to install a ladder rack.

To complicate matters a bit more, Thule does not make a TracRac SR Sliding Ladder Rack model that fits your truck. Although, we do have great models that do. For the absolute highest weight capacity ladder rack we carry that installs completely into the stake pockets without interfering with the tonneau cover is the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A86ZR (silver) or # A26ZR (matte black). Since these racks install do not involve clamps that extend over the bed rails, they sit completely on the rail caps on your truck. Apart from the 500 pound maximum weight capacity, the Pro Series allows you to adjust the bases anywhere along the bed just liked the TrackRac SR model. Another benefit of the Pro Series is that since the bases stand straight up, you will not have any rubbing against the bases like you would with the TracRacSR (if you happen to have a folding or roll-up model of Peragon tonneau cover). It is important to note that there is drilling required for installation.

If you go with the Pro Series, you have the option of adding an eye bolt tie-down kit # A4000882 and the adjustable load stops # A4000880 for greater cargo control. For straps to secure your cargo with the tie-down kit, I suggest the Erickson Cam Buckle Tie-Downs # EM34409.
