Troubleshooting A Non Turning Bulldog Lifelong Hitch Lock
Question:
how do you unlock the trailer lock. i have the key and tried turning it counter clock wise and it turns but nothing unlocks.

It sounds like the internal ball bearings that are used to secure and release the pin for your Bulldog Hitch Receiver Lock # BD580404 are stuck due to some type of corrosion or debris. Even with the provided cap , moisture can sometimes get into the hard to reach access points.
I would recommend using some kind of penetrating spray and lubricate both the key slot and also around the barrel where the pin will release. Let it sit for a couple minutes and then try putting the key into the lock and wiggle the key around inside and try popping the center portion out. You may have to try this a couple times.
