What Is The Cardboard Piece Inside My RV Microwave

I was setting up my new microwave/conv Furrion RV Microwaves - FMCM15SS and inside there is a square about 3x3 inch pieces of cardboard that is covering a opening. should that be taken off of the right inside wall of the microwave?

The cardboard piece you're referring to in your Furrion Over the Range RV Convection Microwave # FMCM15SS covers the waveguide system that feeds microwave energy into the cavity of the microwave and should not be removed.
