The best way to tell between a 2014 Toyota Tundra double cab and crewmax models is the door handles on the front and rear door. If the handles are the exact same and the doors are the same size, that is the double cab. If the front handle is different than the rear door's handle (and the rear door is a bit smaller), that is the crew max. From your description, it sounds like you have the crewmax model.
