Question:
I have a 2017 Coachmen Prism 2200 LE . It is on a Mercedes Benz 3500 sprinter van chassis . I am looking for a 5000 or 6000 lb hitch for it . The parts people are no help at all . I know they make them because some of these same models have a 5000 lb hitch on them . My hitch is a Pull Rite 3500 lb hitch . The hitch I have seen on them is a Curt brand . Can you help me ? These pictures are my old hitch .

Expert Reply:
For the 2017 Coachmen Prism 2200LE built on a Mercedes Benz 3500 chassis we do have the Curt hitch part # 13358 which has a 5,000 lb trailer towing capacity. Only thing you'll want to check is that your frame does not measure 30-3/8 inches wide from outside to outside as that would mean it's not a fit. We do not have any fit options for if the frame is 30-3/8 inches wide.
