Will this provide enough space and clearance to place a pedal boat on top of my Land Rover SUV?

I do have an option for you but the Viking Solutions Rack Jack Magnum Hoist part # 310-VMH001 won't work for lifting items on a roof, the boom is not long enough to reach this high. I would instead recommend some sort of pulley system like Thule MultiLift Cargo Lift and Storage System part # TH572.
