Bike Rack Carrier for Coleman Travel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2020 Coleman 244bh travel trailer with a 4” bumper. How do I know the weight capacity as I am interested in a 2” hitch adapter for a bike rack. Thank you Kyle

I have never had a RV manufacturer tell me a weight rating for their bumper. They usually say its enough for the spare tire or a BBQ grill that they have mounted on to it.

I always recommend the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-275. It will put your bikes where they are safer in front of the trailer. The rear is subject to a lot of hash bouncing and they become out of sight out of mind so you kind of forget they are back there. I have seen them become stolen or lost that way. Plus with this mount you can move your bike rack to your vehicle whenever you need it.

The Swagman Original # S64152-2 will make loading and unloading your bikes easier as they will rest on the frame while your remove and install the clamps.
