If your 2017 Ram 1500 short bed has the RamBox then you can look into Pace Edwards JackRabbit Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover - Aluminum and Vinyl - Matte Black # 311-M-JRD82A02. If your short bed truck does not have the RamBox then you can look into the Pace Edwards Switchblade Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover - Aluminum and Vinyl - Black # 311-SWD77A01.
Both of these bed covers are low-profile and mount inside the bed rails, making them compatible with truck bed ladder racks that mount above the bed rails.
