For your 2018 Subaru Crosstrek the Curt hitch part # C13382 is the best option overall. It has higher towing capacities, is mostly hidden, and isn't priced too high like some of the other options. If I were in your situation this would be the hitch I would buy. Then for trailer wiring the part # C56040 is the correct harness for an easy install.
