To tow your 20ft Wilson livestock trailer with your 2001 Ford F-350, you will want to change the brakes on the trailer from air-over-hydraulic (vacuum) brakes to electric-over-hydraulic brakes. To do this, I recommend using our HydraStar EOH Kit, # HS381-9066 if your trailer has drum brakes or # HS381-9067 if your trailer has disc brakes.
I attached an installation video we made with this actuator on a livestock trailer to give you an idea of what we did with our installation.
I talked to Wilson to get a little better idea of the hydraulic side of your trailer brakes and they said there is a chance that you have 1/4 inch brake line coming from your vacuum pump, if that is the case, then you will also want our 1/4 inch brake line adapter, # HS43-9035, to connect the 1/4 inch brake line to the HydraStar actuator. If you have the standard 3/16 fitting at your existing pump, then that will thread right into the HydraStar actuator.
