Does Monitor of Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera Need to be Plugged in for Power
Updated 07/11/2024 | Published 03/18/2020 >
Question:
This past week I bought both a TST TPMS system and a Furrion rear view camera S for our new Jayco Eagle fifth wheel. Got the TPMS all programmed and installed today, and also working on the rear view camera a snap to install, and the monitor. Regarding the 7” monitor, can you tell me if it is powered by an internal rechargeable battery, or does it have to be plugged in to a power source all the time it is in use? Thanks for the informattion!

Glad to hear everything has been installed and working great! In regards to the 7 inch monitor of the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System # FOS05TASF, it does need to be plugged in at all times in order to get power. It will just plug into your tow vehicle's 12 volt outlet (formerly called the cigarette lighter outlet).

My 7" monitor cuts off automatically after 30 seconds run time. I can touch the screen & it will come back on for another 30 seconds then turns off again. is there a way to make it stay on full time?
