How to Reset Jensen JWM60A RV Stereo

Question:

It was new and used one summer. Worked great. Now it will play a DVD part way thru then freezes up. It then will return to main menu and will not play beyond that point. It does it with every DVD I put in, new or not. How can this problem be fixed.

According to Jensen, resetting the stereo should fix your problem. Just to the right of the CD/DVD eject button is a small hole. If you straighten out a paper clip and push it in that hole, there's a small reset button. Press the button and the stereo will reset itself.

The technician also told me that if that doesn't do the trick, to do a hard reset which involves disconnecting the stereo from power for a minute or two then reconnecting it.
