Radiator Fan Recommendation for 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0L V6 Engine
Question:
I need assurance this unit bolts directly to the radiator of my 2005 Wrangler 4.0L. NOT to the body or radiator shroud, or any other connection point. Thank you

I reached out to my contact at Flex-a-Lite and was able to confirm that the 16" Flex-Wave Electric Fan # FLX236 does in fact install directly onto the radiator core. The 16" Flex-Wave LoBoy Auxiliary Electric Fan # FLX238 is also a universal fan that installs directly onto the radiator, but it's slightly thinner and provides more air flow at 3,000 CFM, so if you don't need the reversible feature, this is the one I recommend for your 2005 Jeep Wrangler with the 4.0 L V6 engine.
For a fan designed specifically for your Wrangler, I recommend the 3,300 CFM Flex-a-lite Direct Fit Black Magic Xtreme Radiator Fan # FLX485 along with the Flex-a-lite Coolant Reservoir Bracket # FLX30928.
