What Does Safe Working Load Limit of Load Binder Mean
Question:
The ratchet load binder is rated at 9200 pounds. Does that mean it is rated to secure a tractor that weighs less than 9200 pounds? Do I need 4, one for each corner or can I use a single one up front and wrap a single chain on each side and and tighten with a single ratchet?

That's a good question, because working load limits (WLL) can be somewhat confusing, but I can explain it for you. The 9,200 lb WLL of the Titan Chain Ratcheting Load Binder for 3/8" - 1/2" Thick Chain # TCRB10 simply means that the binder itself is rated for weights up to 9,200 lbs, but that is separate from the chains.
The number of chains you need is determined by their WLL. For example, if you had an 8,000 lb tractor,. you would need the aforementioned binder, as well as two of the 6,600 lb rated Titan Chain Transport Chain # TCG70-10-16 (16 feet), # TCG70-10-20 (20 feet), or # TCG70-10-25 (25 feet). For WLL with chains, their capacity is combined, so you would have more than enough capacity with two 6,600 lb chains.
I have added a link to a video review of the binder and chains for you to check out.
